I started working with my core team in 2021. At the time, I literally had no clue what to do and how to handle the help that I have. I am blessed that these ladies came in with vast experiences and they guided me each step of the way. That was when I realized how much I needed the help that they provide.
I have gotten used to doing everything alone (with occasional help from others) that I didn’t realize that I was too deeply involved in operations that I wasn’t seeing the bigger picture of my business. I wasn’t seeing the growth opportunities because I was stuck managing my calendar or writing emails, answering client emails, and the list goes on.
When I opened myself to receive my team’s help, it literally changed my life. Finally, I have people who I can rely on and who I felt safe working with. I now have the opportunity to expand my reach and get in front of more audiences because I know that the operational side of the business is being taken care of.
My core team has stood the test of time. We have had our fair share of past teammates who weren’t meeting the team’s standards of service, and we have learned the lessons the hard way.
